Warmed up slowly for 1/2 mile, then stopped to stretch. Hoping this will help reduce soreness (my calves were quite tight!). Then did some short sprints, followed by recovery, and ending with cool-down walk.

A little break in the rain! An easy jog around part of downtown Marysville. Took some photos of the sun peeking out through the clouds and several shots of the trees that are in bloom. (They have pink blooms…don’t know what kind they are…but I’m guessing cherry.)

Today was a Running Monkeys group run on the Sammamish River Trail, beginning at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville at 10 a.m. Drove my new car!!! As with the last time I drove here (back in fall 2008), the traffic and parking were both a little tricky!
